Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2009
For admission to Bachelor of Engineering courses for Delhi region (85 % quota) only.
The University of Delhi will hold a Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to First Semester of Bachelor of Engineering Courses for the session 2009-2010 for DELHI REGION candidates passing from Schools/ Colleges / Institutes located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) on Saturday, the 30 th May, 2009.
The candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination from the recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50 % or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55 % or more marks for candidates belonging CW (Defence) / Physically Handicapped category). The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the CEE-2009.
Reservation of seats
- 15 % seats for Scheduled Castes and 7.5 % seats for Scheduled tribes.
- 5 % seats for Children/Widows of Personnel of Armed/Para Military Forces Killed / Disabled in action during hostilities (CW).
- 3 % seats for Physically Handicapped (1 % for persons with low vision or blindness, 1 % for hearing impaired, 1 % for those with locomotor disabilities and / or cerebral palsy).
- Reservation of Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates as per directive / approval of the competent authority.
Note: All candidates (viz. covered under General/SC/ST/CW/PH/OBC category) will be required to appear in the Combined Entrance Examination CEE-2009.
The Combined Entrance Examination consists of objective type questions in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics (combined).
17 years on or before 1st October, 2009.

On submission of pay Order/ Demand Draft drawn on any Bank of Rs. 400 /- for General/OBC/CW category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PH category (inclusive of examination fee) on working days from Monday to Friday between 10:00am to 4:00pm (lunch 01:00 pm to 01:30pm).
The application for can also be downloaded from www.dce.ac.in, www.nsit.ac.in. The downloaded form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 400 /- for General / OBC/CW category and Rs. 200 / – for SC/ST/PH category in favour of the “ Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi ”.
The Bulletin of Information can also be obtained by post by sending a Pay Order/ Demand Draft drawn on any bank of Rs. 475 /- for General/OBC/CW category and Rs. 275 /- for SC/ST/PH (inclusive of examination fee and postal charges). The request for supply of Bulletin of Information by post should be sent to The Dean, Faculty of Technology, (Delhi University Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi – 110042 along with two self addresses slips.
The Demand Draft/Pay Order should be in favour of the “ Registrar, Delhi University, Delhi ”.
Please write your name, address and telephone number (if any) at the back of the Demand Draft/ Pay Order.

- Last date for receipt of request for supply of Bulletin by post 02.04.2009.
