New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is working on a new project which will send alerts to users on their mobiles whenever there is a power cut. This will help people plan their day ahead. The message will contain the power cut time and the estimated time of restoration. And during power failures due to technical glitches, they will send out an alert with the estimated restoration time. Before making this facility available to everyone, Civic body will launch this to the registered users and based on the responses, they will proceed forward. With this new registration feature, users will be able to pay their bills and also check their paid bills invoice.
This feature would definitely bring some relief to people who waste most of their summer days in complaining and lodging complaints. Now, they won’t need to scream at people to get power cut status.
