NIOS Admissions for class 10 and 12

National Institute of Open Schooling (Govt. of India. Ministry of Human Resource Development ) An Examination Board of Govt. of India at par with CBSE and CISCE. Admissions Open Both Online and Through Als (Study Centers) For Secondary/Senior Secondary Courses of NIOS, The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) offers school education at Secondary and Sr. Secondary (10th and 12th) level through Open and distance Learning mode, All the interested learners, especially school dropouts. out of school children, working youth including girls can avail the flexible schemes of NIOS. The admission notification is as under:

Stream-III: Open throughout the year for learners who have already passed Secondary and want to lake part admission in 1 subject or up to 4 subjects or unsuccessful learners want to appear through On Demand Examination System at Secondary level.

Stream-IV: Open throughout the year for learners who have already passed Senior Secondary or above and want to take part admission in 1 subject or up to 4 subject or unsuccessful learners want to appear through On Demand Examination System at Senior Secondary level.

Note: At present On Demand Examination Secondary and Senior Secondary Courses is Operational at NIOS Headquarter at Noida and Secondary Courses at Regional Centre Pune.

    Dear sir/ madam,
    i want some information regarding admission in NIOS. my brother has given CBSE exam in 2010 n his result displays qualified. he took three languages n in two languages hindi and punjabi he is pass but in english he is fail due to which he has some problems in admission in class eleventh. Is NIOS the better option because in CBSE he has to give improvement test for English due to which he will waste hiis two years. Can admission to NIOS help in saving his two years?
