Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) remains undisputed leader in two metros (Delhi & Mumbai) in telephony and broadband serivices, recent news reports says that there are more than 30,000 and 7,000 people waiting in queues for their broadband and IPTV service connections respectively.
Other players might have to pull up their socks to match up with the competition in the market. But MTNL seems to have a huge demand; one can say that is mainly due to their brand that they have created all these years.
Mr. R.S.P. Sinha chairman of MTNL recently spoke to media regarding this supply gap, this is what he has to say.
“We have an edge over our competitors both in terms of quality of services and pricing. That is why people prefer waiting for our services rather than going to our competitors.”
