Rajinikanth likely to work with Ragava Larencce

South-Indian superstar Rajinikanth watched Nagarjuna starrer Don in Four Frames preview theatre on Sunday evening. There are reports that he will be roping Larencce as the director for his next film which will be produced by Balachandar under the banner of Kavitalaya.

A. R. Murugadoss is also another option who will direct Rajini next. But if everything goes well then it might be a golden chance for Larencce to direct the superstar. But the question arises, Will he be able to handle such a big superstar?

All we can do is now wait for a official confirmation from Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth is currently busy in the dubbing process of his next venture ‘Sultan – The warrior’ which is an animated film. Music for Sultan will be provided by A. R. Rahman. Rajinikanth’s recent hit ‘Sivaji’ is still running strong with an average collection range from 60 to 70%.


Hanuman going strong

The second installment of Hanuman series, The Return of Hanuman is said to be going strong. As the movie is released in winter holidays, the collection seems to be strong. The movie is a contemporary touch to the mythological Lord. The movie has a connecting link between the mythological past and the present scenario which is being received well by the audiences especially the kids.

The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap and is being produced by Percept Motion Pictures. Tapas Relia scored music for this movie and T-Series did the audio marketing of the film.

‘Pourudu’ Music Launch

Sumanth and Kajal Agarwal starrer Pourudu’s audio was released on December 27th, 2007 at a function held at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, famously known as ANR released the audio CD and presented the first unit to D. Ramanaidu.

Nagarjuna, Venkat, Suresh Babu and Srinivasa Rao Kota were few of the attendees of the function. Aditya music is marketing the audio of this film. Mani Sharma has composed music for this film.


John Apparao 40+ to release on 31st January, 2007

Comedian turned hero, Krishna Bhagwan starrer John Apparao 40+ will be releasing on 31st January, 2007. This film marks as a comeback for Simran. Kiran Varanasi is composing music for this film. Kuchipudi Venkat is directing this film.

Ali and Brahmanandam are some other members of the casting in the film. Kuchipudi Venkat himself has provided the script for this film. The movie is being produced under Black and Eight banner.



The new Romeo-Juliet, Tarun and Illeana

Bommarillu fame Vijaya Bhaskar’s next movie title is Romeo-Juliet. Tarun and Illeana are said to be playing the lead roles of the movie. The movie was earlier reported to be made with Vishnu and Genelia under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, which is the home banner of Vishnu but was later replaced by Tarun and Illeana under the production of Bellamkonda Suresh who was recently in news for bringing tamil movies close to telugu people like Sivaji and Deva.


Taare Zameen Par is tax-free now!

Debut directorial venture of actor Aamir Khan, Taare Zameen par has been exempted from taxes in New Delhi. This will come in effect from December 27th, 2007. The movie has conquered the top spot in the box-office right now and is running successfully in all theatres in India.

The movie is made with a social cause and is based on a dyslexic kid.
